FoodWorthy

Borne out of my Innovative Product Design class, FoodWorthy is an innovative lunchbox designed to securely fit within the water bottle pocket of any backpack. The pin-slider mechanism ensures the lunchbox will securely clamp into the water bottle pocket

Split-Ring Planetary Gearbox

An ongoing personal project of mine to create a completely 3D printable, high-reduction ratio gearbox capable of providing high torque. Currently, I am troubleshooting a 48:1 reduction ratio gearbox. Come back for updates!

PhosphoSense

As a part of my Physical Design in Bioengineering course, I created a spectrophotometric device capable of performing on-site phosphorus nutrient tests.

Viscous Fluid Elastomeric Actuators

For my MEng project, I collaborated with two other MEng students to create a robotic gripper using novel soft robotic actuators which could perform complex actions like scrolling a mouse wheel by using principles of viscous fluid. Our work was selected to be published at the RoboSoft 2024 Conference.

DiscoDroid: The Dancing Robot

A robot I created with two other students that could dance to any song on-beat. The robot features a 32x32 LED matrix, two 3 DoF robotic arms with digital servos at the joints, and an ESP32-S3 board controlling the robot

Autonomous Stunt Robot

As part of the Fast Robots course, I built an autonomous RC car equipped with sensors like two infrared time-of-flight distance sensors and an IMU to perform really fast stunts. The project emphasized how to program really fast robots and how to deal with slow sensor sampling rates through state-estimation techniques like Kalman filters to speed up robot responsiveness. We also performed motion planning and mapping with our robot.

Robotic Arm

For Bio-Robotics, one of our tasks was building a 4 DoF robotic arm and making it be able to grab cotton balls and not green ping-pong balls. I used inverse kinematics and a computer vision algorithm to achieve this feat.

Autonomous Block Gathering Robot

As part of the mechanical engineering circuits course, I, along with two other students, built an autonomous block gathering robot to compete in the CubeCraze competition.

Pulse Oximeter

As a part of Circuits, Signals, and Sensor: Instrumentation Laboratory, I built a pulse oximeter from scratch on a breadboard. I designed multiple filtering circuits, switching circuits, and amplifying circuits to read the proper biosignals.

I created a machine learning model which could accurately predict the customer lifetime value for an automobile insurance company for my Product Management course.

Computational Analysis of a Hydrogel Bandage

For my Computational-Aided Engineering course, I used FEA in COMSOL to analyze the SMART Predict Hydrogel Bandage and wrote a 31-page technical report along with 3 other students.
